Laura Viehmyer is the CEO of Viehmyer Consulting Group LLC, a full service human capital and business consultancy, where she serves as a trusted advisor to Boards of Directors, CEOs and C-Suite executives. Her most recent C-suite role was as Senior Vice President, Human Resources at DAI, a $500M private international development firm. There she co-led a strategic corporate recapitalization shifting from a 100% ESOP to a holding company model with C corporations to expand employee ownership globally across 30+ countries. Earlier, Ms. Viehmyer served as Vice President of Human Resources and Quality for USP, a $130M pharmaceutical standard setting organization, where she worked with the Board to overhaul the global pay system and establish a contractual relationship with the firm’s CEO. As Chief HR Officer of the American Institute of Architects, Ms. Viehmyer worked with a Board Succession Planning Task Force and the Board Search Committee to guide a successful CEO transition. Concurrent with her executive career, Ms. Viehmyer was also an adjunct graduate school professor in finance and compensation for over ten years with the Catholic University of America. In addition, Ms. Viehmyer has 20 years of board experience on private mission driven and nonprofit boards.
