Jennifer Almquist is an accomplished CPA and C-suite finance executive with over 25 years of experience in capital markets, finance and investor relations (IR). She is a former Big 4 auditor and senior leader recognized for strategic finance leadership and deep expertise in public company communications. She led IR and Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) reporting for a $700 million top-line consumer products company through a strategic turnaround, achieving 12x stock price increase, increasing sell-side analyst coverage, and re-building management credibility. She also advised an early stage automotive technology company through its highly successful Special Purpose Acquisition Company (SPAC) merger and public listing, with redemptions below 1%.
Jennifer is the founder of Ivy Street Advisory, where she has acted as a strategic finance partner and trusted advisor for more than 40 public and private companies on matters of capital markets strategy and compliance, disclosure, investor engagement, accounting, and finance. She has advised a wide range of companies through major transitions, including initial public listings, secondary offerings, several strategic pivots, acquisitions, divestitures, leadership transitions, delisting's, and bankruptcies. She has also served as transitional Chief Financial Officer for private companies, as well as in senior IR, accounting and finance roles for public companies including energy, consumer products, and technology sectors. Jennifer has experience with public, private equity backed, and startup companies, and specializes in small and mid-cap companies, bringing experience with recognized names such as Coors Brewing Company, Crocs, StarTek, TeleTech, Intrepid Potash, and Westmoreland Coal Company.
