She has provided governance and executive oversight for more than $30 billion in capital investments and strategic growth initiatives for Fortune 500 companies, specializing in corporate governance, M&A, capital strategy, and enterprise risk.
Uma has served on corporate boardrooms for the past 6 years and is currently appointed as the Chair for Nomination and Compensation for Cascade Energy, as well as independent board director for VECKTA Energy. Her executive career includes senior leadership roles at Newmont Mining, Schlumberger, and Accenture, leading global business transformation across five continents.
