Uma’s three decades of extensive global operational and leadership experience in the Resources, Manufacturing, Construction, and Technology industries, including sitting on investor governance councils and advisory boards, uniquely qualifies her to serve on public boards in risk, executive, and governance committees.


Uma is an accomplished corporate board director and investment advisor with more than 35 years of global leadership across technology, energy, and natural resources. She has provided governance and executive oversight for more than $30 billion in capital investments and strategic growth initiatives for Fortune 500 companies, specializing in corporate governance, M&A, capital strategy, and enterprise risk.

Uma has served on corporate boardrooms for the past 6 years and is currently appointed as the Chair for Nomination and Compensation for Cascade Energy, as well as independent board director for VECKTA Energy. Her executive career includes senior leadership roles at Newmont Mining, Schlumberger, and Accenture, leading global business transformation across five continents.

As Founder of Leading Lotus, she guides boardrooms, family offices, and investors on long-range business decisions impacted by global economic and geopolitical shifts.
