West Perth, WA, October 1, 2025--Andean Silver announces that Jessie Liu-Ernsting has been appointed to the Company's Board of Directors.
We're pleased to welcome experienced North American-based mining specialist Jessie Liu-Ernsting, P.Eng., MBA, ICD.D as a Non-Executive Director of Andean Silver.
Jessie is a highly credentialled resources executive and engineer with 20 years of experience in the mining industry. She has held progressively senior strategic, financial and technical positions at G Mining Ventures Corp (TSX: GMIN), Hudbay Minerals Inc (NYSE: HBM), Resource Capital Funds and two preeminent Canadian EPCM firms.
She is currently Chief Corporate Development Officer at Canadian copper developer FireFly Metals (ASX/TSX: FFM) and is a Director of the Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada (PDAC) and Aston Bay Holdings Ltd (TSXV: BAY).

About Jessie:
Jessie Liu-Ernsting is an accomplished executive and professional engineer with 20 years’ experience in the natural resources and related industries in engineering, technical, financial and strategic capacities. She is the Chief Corporate Development Officer at FireFly Metals, heading up the Company’s strategic and corporate development and investor relations. Over her previous tenure as VP Investor Relations at G Mining Ventures (TSX:GMIN), she was part of the leadership team responsible for the growth of the company from a $200m developer to a $5B market cap producer. Ms Liu-Ernsting was responsible for establishing and delivering GMIN's inaugural investor relations program to increase investor awareness and engagement. She was involved in GMIN securing the US$481M Tocantinzinho project construction financing package consisting of gold stream, equity, debt and equipment financing in the tough market environment of 2022, and GMIN's shareholder-approved C$875M merger with Reunion Gold in 2024.
Before that, as the inaugural VP of Corporate Development and Investor Relations, she led a junior mining company to achieve 14x share price accretion and raised $33M over the company’s first 12 months during the COVID-19 crisis. Previously, she guided a public company to achieve settlement on a disputed proxy. As an institutional investor, she developed tailored financing solutions for resource companies totaling over $4 B, spanning 23 commodities on 6 continents. Jessie started her career with two of the preeminent Canadian engineering firms conducting backfill, mine, mill and mining innovation capital projects.
Jessie has over 10 years of non-profit board and committee experience, and 6 years of corporate board audit, compensation, technical and special committees experience. She currently sits on the boards of Andean Silver Ltd. (ASX:ASL), Aston Bay Holdings Ltd. (TSXV.BAY) and the PDAC (The Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada).
Jessie holds an MBA from the Schulich School of Business with specialization in Mining, Finance and Strategy, and Electrical Engineering degree from Queen’s University. In her spare time, you will find Jessie at the curling rink, on the golf course, camping on the shores of Lake Ontario or riding her Peloton.
