Denver, Colorado --Helen Raleigh, CFA, CDI.D™ has been appointed by Governor Jared Polis as a member of the Colorado State Board of Accountancy, serving a four-year term.
The Colorado State Board of Accountancy is a regulatory board that oversees the professional conduct and licensure of Certified Public Accountants in our state. The board plays a critical role in ensuring that CPAs uphold the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and public trust. While the Board regulates CPAs specifically, it does not oversee accountants, public accountants, tax preparers, or enrolled agents, who may fall under the purview of professional associations or, in some cases, the IRS.
