ACE LLC Announces ACE Graduate, Dr. Cameron Goodwin, is the new Head of Research and Development for Project Omega.

Washington DC, USA, June 1, 2026 – We are excited to welcome Dr. Cameron Goodwin to Project Omega as our new Head of Research & Development.

Dr. Goodwin brings more than a decade of leadership across nuclear operations, regulation, and advanced reactor innovation. Most recently, she served as Director of the Rhode Island Atomic Energy Commission, where she oversaw the state’s only nuclear facility and led all operational and regulatory efforts.

Prior to that, she held key roles at the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, contributing to operating reactor licensing and advancing next-generation technologies, including SMRs and non-lightwater reactors.

About Project Omega

We were given reactors, but never the systems that turn nuclear energy into abundance. AI acceleration, electrification, next-generation manufacturing are pushing energy demand far beyond what today’s systems can produce.

  • No domestic nuclear recycling.

  • No modern materials, safeguards, or scalable fuel pathways.

  • No small‑scale, long‑duration nuclear power systems.

Nuclear is the only power source to meet the needs of the nation’s innovation and growth trajectory. But the U.S. has never unlocked its full potential. Until now.
