The ACE Board Training for Women is a specially designed program which features a rigorous 8-week curriculum, customized to provide corporate director training for professional women. Participants will learn the skills to be an effective board member and gain practical tools for landing a seat on a corporate board. By the end of the program, you will have the tools and insider tips to be prepared to take your place on a board. In an intimate setting, you will learn alongside other women in a collaborative structure.
Individual coaching sessions are also included.
There will be two in-person sessions made up of a 4-day retreat and then about 8 weeks of home study, and then a full day program for follow up and anchoring of new skills. The program is all-inclusive for registrants. The number of participants is limited to maximize individual attention and focus. You will discover how to use your networks and gain insight into choosing the right board opportunities for you.
You will understand how to contribute meaningfully as a director and how to incorporate a corporate directorship into your career plan.
Program fee US$7,000 (Early Bird is $6,500) includes tuition, lodging, meals at retreat and meeting days, coaching sessions, books, case materials, workbook, and ACE Certification Exam (see more details and terms under Fees, Payments and Cancellations section in attachment). Airfare is not included in price.
The ACE Board Training for Women is a two-part program, offered in a 4-day retreat workshop and then 8 weeks later, a full-day follow-up program with practical tools for helping you to land a board seat.
PART I: The Weekend Retreat, Thurs-Sun, Oct. 4-7, 2018: For best focus and learning experience, the 4-day retreat is held at Beaver Creek, CO, which is about 90 minutes outside of Denver. The weekend in retreat will allow for focus on the topic at hand, time for working on your board readiness and also time to relax and enjoy the amenities.
In Between: The 8 weeks in between the retreat and the one-day program in Denver is your Home Study and will be time for working on assignments, accountability meetings with partners, and 1:1 coaching to maximize your personal board profile.
PART II: The Follow up One-Day Program, Thurs-Fri, Nov. 29-30, 2018:
The follow-up training day will be held in central Denver and will include review of board governance, board preparation and accounting homework. There will also be practical participation in the session for valuable take-aways. At the end of the training day will be a VIP reception for all graduates. CEOs, recruiters, and influencers will be invited to attend and come meet you as a new board candidate.
The following morning will be a Private celebratory breakfast party for all graduates.
